“Fertilizer dealers”: Kirby responded to the Russian Federation’s statements that Ukraine was involved in the terrorist attack in Crocus

A White House spokesman said Kremlin officials were trying to pin blame on Ukraine or the United States for a shooting at a concert hall in Russia when it was clear that ISIS was behind the attack.

Washington has denied Russian President Vladimir Putin’s claims that Ukraine was involved in a terrorist attack at the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow. The White House National Security Communications Advisor called the Kremlin’s statements “nonsense and propaganda” in a briefing on Thursday, March 28. Hill writes about this.

Kirby emphasized that Putin’s “contrary to his statements trying to shift the blame to Ukraine, the United States and anyone else who fits their political narrative, it is clear that ISIS bears full responsibility for last week’s horrific terrorist attack in Moscow.”

A White House spokesman said the statements by Russian officials reminded him of his uncle’s comments about fertilizer dealers.

“We had a small farm near Ocala, Florida, where we raised cattle. My uncle said the best manure salesmen often carried manure samples in their mouths. Russian officials seem to be pretty good manure salesmen,” Kirby said.

He reminded that Moscow had been warned about the threat of attack. A corresponding letter was issued to Russia, warning US citizens against large gatherings and concerts in Moscow.

“We are providing this information to Russia because the United States takes its responsibility to warn very seriously and never wants to see innocent lives lost in terrorist attacks,” Kirby said.

Let’s remember, on March 28, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation announced the alleged involvement of Ukrainians in the terrorist attack on Crocus City Hall. The investigation noted that the perpetrators of the terrorist attack “received significant amounts of cash and cryptocurrencies from Ukraine for use in the preparation of the crime.”

President Vladimir Zelensky said in an interview with CBS News that Putin used the Crocus attack to mobilize his people, take aggressive action and “so that there is no Ukraine left.”
