McLaren’s Lavoie Series 1 Electric Scooter weighs just 16.5kg and folds easily. Battery charge lasts 50 km.
McLaren opened a new line of business. Now the British company produces not only supercars and racing cars, but also electric scooters. Details of the first Series 1 model have been revealed on the official McLaren website.
The McLaren Series 1 electric scooter was created by a new subsidiary of Lavoie specializing in electric propulsion. Acceptance of orders for it begins in January. The price has not yet been announced, but in any case it will be the most affordable McLaren.
But by electric scooter standards, the new McLaren Lavoie Series 1 won’t be cheap. Its body is made of expensive and light magnesium, which reduces the weight to 16.5 kg. Also provided are satellite navigation, a system for quickly folding the scooter and a powerful diode backlight, which makes it more noticeable in the dark.
You can charge Lavoie Series 1, which has a range of 50 km, in 2 hours at home. The maximum speed is 30 km / h, as European rules no longer allow it.
Previously Focus said that the most non-standard McLaren supercar appeared in Ukraine.
We also wrote that Hummer has started selling unconventional electric bikes.
