China has launched a new flagship sedan, the MG7, aimed at young consumers. This was reported on the CarNewsChina website.
The MG7 got a stylish design with a wide grille and narrow headlights. In addition, the novelty has a fast silhouette.
At the rear, lights are interconnected by an LED strip and a large active spoiler is placed on the tailgate. At the bottom you can find four fake tailpipes that make the sedan visually sportier.
Interestingly, the first 15,000 MG7 buyers will receive a lifetime vehicle warranty. In addition, they were entitled to a subsidy of 10,000 yuan ($1,450).

There are two wheel sizes to choose from – 225/50 R18 or 245/40 R19. Additionally, customers can choose from dozens of vibrant body colors for their sedans.
The base version of the MG7 2023 is equipped with a 1.5-liter 15FDE turbocharged petrol engine with 188 hp. and 300 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
There is also a 2.0-liter 2A4E turbocharged petrol engine producing 261 hp. and a torque of 405 Nm. This engine is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. With such a power plant, the sedan will accelerate from 0 to 100 km / h in 6.5 seconds.
Inside, there’s a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment display. Below it is a block of touch buttons.
The front seats of the sedan have pronounced lateral support. At the same time, the interior can be ordered in one of the three available colors – black, blue and red.
BOSE sound system and automatic parking system are optionally available. There are also ADAS systems with an additional MG NGP pilot system.
The starting price of the MG7 2023 is 119,800 yuan ($17,400). The most expensive version of the sedan will cost 169,800 yuan ($24,650).
