Former Nissan designer unveils flashy 600-horsepower supercar (video)

AIM EV Sport 01 was designed with driving pleasure in mind. The supercar is equipped with two electric motors mounted on the rear axle.

Former Nissan designer Shiro Nakamura unveiled the AIM EV Sport 01, a unique retro-style electric supercar. This was reported on the Carscoops website.

The presentation of the novelty took place at the Automobile Council’s exhibition of classic cars in Japan. AIM EV Sport 01 is inspired by classic racing cars.

Round headlights are placed at the front, and stylish headlights are placed below them. Supercar doors open.

The AIM EV Sport 01 has a modern silhouette. Door handles are made in the form of buttons on the side pillar.

The project started with a bare chassis shown at Goodwood. Nakamura later noticed this improvement and decided to build a bodybuilder.

The AIM EV Sport 01 is less than 4000mm in length and 1220mm in height. The car has a minimal number of body panels, which improves aerodynamics and makes it lighter.

The interior features two Alcantara bucket seats. The instrument panel is leather covered.

The supercar does not have the usual rear view mirrors. Instead, cameras are installed through which the image can be viewed in the cabin.

The AIM EV Sport 01 is equipped with two electric motors mounted on the rear axle. Total power is 600 hp.

The supercar only weighs about 1500 kg. The power reserve is about 300 km on a single charge.

The performance characteristics of the AIM EV Sport 01 are kept secret for now, but according to Nakamura it will be one of the best handling cars in the world. He stated that the supercar was created with an emphasis on driving pleasure.
