Rarities worth a million: a secret collection of rare American sports cars discovered (video)

The collection includes rare Dodge, Ford and Plymouth models from the 60s and 70s. The cost of some cars reaches 200-500 thousand dollars.

A “secret” collection of retro cars has been found in the USA. A large hangar houses rare sports cars worth more than a million dollars. These were featured in a video on the Crossthread Garage & Salvage Youtube channel.

Since the owner of the collection, Jerry, did not advertise his hobby, very few people knew about the collection. The American is a fan of NASCAR racing and therefore collected production versions of famous racing cars from this championship. All cars were produced in the 60-70s.

The most valuable of the collection are the Dodge Charger Daytona and the Plymouth Road Runner Superbird – these are the world’s first production cars with wings. It is equipped with a 7.0-liter 425-horsepower V8 Hemi – only 200 cars in total of both models were produced with this engine. Sports cars now cost at least $200,000, and well-preserved examples can cost up to $500,000.

A 1970 Plymouth Barracuda Hemi costs about the same. Only 666 of these cars were built, and the Hemi engine was also installed in the 1969 Dodge Charger 500.

The collection also includes a 1969 model 7.0-liter Ford Torino Talladega and Mercury Cyclone Spoiler, as well as a 1978 model Dodge Aspen.

Previously Focus He talked about his collection of rare Ford Mustangs from the 60s.

We also mentioned a luxury Jaguar that had been sitting in the garage for 30 years.
