A 9-year-old schoolgirl in Chadan, Russian Federation, was taken to the police station on the grounds that she had called for “terrorism”. This was reported by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MVD) of the Republic of Tyva.
According to journalists from the Komsomolskaya Pravda publication, the girl and her family were brought to the police station during operational search activities by employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the department of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation.

According to Russian journalists, a message was sent to the subscriber with an offer to perform “illegal actions in exchange for a reward.” The Ministry of Internal Affairs published screenshots of the schoolgirl’s correspondence in which she offered to “kill people in exchange for 500 thousand rubles.”
In response, the 9-year-old girl received a message threatening to tell law enforcement about her actions. The schoolgirl got scared, apologized and asked her interlocutor not to do this.
“I’m sorry if I offended you! I hate terrorists too,” the boy’s message reads.

On March 25, the Moscow Basmanny Court issued a preventive measure for three citizens involved in the Crocus case. Two people have been charged and the third is a suspect. All were arrested by 22 May. 2 of those arrested are citizens of the Russian Federation and 1 has a temporary residence permit.
