The Kia K4 hatchback looks more impressive than the previous Ceed model. The car will receive new options and two large screens in the cabin
The new Kia K4 will be available not only as a sedan but also as a hatchback. The new model will replace the Kia Ceed. The first photos of the new product were shown during the presentation of the four-door K4 at the auto show in New York. The L’Argus website reports this.
Kia K4 hatchback has an interesting chopped design. The front end is the same as the sedan (except for decoration), but the rear has thick vertical roof pillars. The rear window is covered with a spoiler and the rear door handles are hidden.
Important
The interior of the hatchback was not shown, but it is unlikely to differ from the interior of the sedan. This means that the new Kia K4 will have two screens on the front panel. Options will include access to the cabin from a smartphone, an electric driver’s seat with memory adjustment, seat ventilation and a semi-autonomous driving system.
Most likely the Kia K4 hatchback will be equipped with 2.0-liter (147 hp) and 1.6-liter turbo (190 hp) gasoline engines, as well as a manual or automatic transmission. Other engines may also be offered in the European market. The five-door model will be introduced before the end of the year.
