The Russian monopoly Gazprom will reduce the volume of gas transit to Moldova via Ukraine from November 28. The reason is that Moldovan gas was allegedly stolen by Ukraine, and the “blue fuel” was deposited somewhere on the territory of our state. This was reported by the press service of the company.

“The volume of gas supplied by Gazprom to GIS Sudzha for transit through Ukraine to Moldova exceeds the physical volume transmitted at Ukraine’s border with Moldova,” Gazprom said.

Therefore, from November 28, 2022, the Russian company threatens to reduce the volume of fuel transit through Ukraine to Moldova. At the same time, according to Gazprom’s report, on 21 November Moldovagaz paid a part of the November deliveries to the Russians in accordance with the contract.

Gazprom said in a statement, “The actual delivered volume of Russian gas whose current supply payment was violated in November is 24,945 million cubic meters of gas. The total accumulated volume in Ukraine is 52.52 million cubic meters.” .

According to the company’s estimates, this year fuel exports decreased by 42.6 percent, or 67.6 billion cubic meters, while gas production decreased by 18.6 percent, or 78.8 billion cubic meters.

Earlier, it was learned that the Polish government seized the shares of the Russian company “Gazprom” in EuRoPol Gaz, the operator of the Polish part of the “Yamal-Europe” gas pipeline.
