People’s deputies submitted to the Rada a mobilization bill proposing to increase the monetary support of military personnel and allow them free passage of cars through customs.
On February 13, in the Verkhovna Rada, people’s deputies registered another draft bill on mobilization No. 11012, which proposed increasing payments to military personnel. This was announced by Roman Kostenko, Secretary of the Rada Defense Committee, in a comment to Channel 24.
Draft Law No. 11012 specifically proposes to increase the salaries of military personnel by 1.5 times after six months of stay in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The document also provides financial support of $3,000 to those mobilized, $4,000 to sergeants, and $5,000 to officers.
Additionally, the bill states that the military should receive additional money for destroyed equipment. In exchange for the liquidation of a tank/crew, a fighter can receive up to ten thousand dollars, that is, 500 thousand hryvnia for the aircraft and 100 thousand hryvnia for the missile.
Grassroots lawmakers also propose changing veterans’ payments. Disabled warriors must receive at least the following:
- 15 thousand hryvnia – third group;
- 20 thousand hryvnia – second group;
- 25 thousand hryvnia – first group.
Kostenko said that it is also possible for soldiers who served for 12 months in combat and those who served for 24 months to have vehicles cleared from customs for their own use free of charge. They offer to make an offer for 36 months of service in the Ukrainian Armed Forces, without a war. 50% discount on customs clearance.
Let us recall that on February 22, the head of the Servant of the People group, David Arakhamia, said that Ukraine would have to mobilize more people if less aid comes from the United States. According to him, there is a big deficiency in the brigades.
Earlier, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Digital Development Alexander Bornyakov said that it was impossible to exclude labor contractors and self-employed people from mobilization.
