Working retirees whose salaries have not been recalculated for two years will be able to receive a raise in April. In particular, it depends on the size of the pension and the amount of experience gained.
Starting from April 1, the salaries of retirees who continue to work will be increased by almost 600 hryvnia. This was reported on OBOZ.UA.
Journalists noted that 2.7 million Ukrainian retirees continue to work. They have the right to recalculate their pension payments as their length of service increases.
This recalculation of payments occurs no more often than once every two years. Therefore, retirees who have been working for two years and whose salaries have not been recalculated are likely to receive a raise in April.
How much will pension payments increase after recalculation?
The increase will depend on a number of facts, primarily the size of pensions and the amount of insurance coverage. Payments will increase by:
- 333 hryvnia for retirees whose payments amount to 5 thousand hryvnia and have 30 years of work experience after retirement;
- 400 hryvnia for those with a pension of 6 thousand hryvnia and 30 years of work experience;
- 562 hryvnia for citizens with a pension of 562 hryvnia.
Who else will get paid more?
In addition, the pensions of those who have fulfilled the insurance period norms and have reached the age of 65 will also be increased. The pension amount of those over the age of 65, who are over the age of 35 for men and over the age of 30 for women, cannot be less than 40 percent of the minimum wage.
Let us also remind that the Pension Fund said that Ukrainians will be able to calculate future payment amounts and retirement age. To do this, you need to use the electronic service and enter your data and the current amount of income.
