Execution in the “Pilaf Center”: how a father of many children turned into a murderer

The court arrested for two months Pyotr Kapustin, who fired at the Zelenograd cafe “Plov-center”. The incident occurred on the night of August 26, 2022: first, a quarrel broke out between the cafe visitors, after which one of them opened fire. As a result of the shootout, one man was killed and two others were wounded. The attacker immediately fled the scene of the crime, but a few hours later, police officers located his whereabouts. CCTV footage helped track him down.

Deadly shootout in Zelenograd cafe

On the night of August 26, 2022, a man opened fire in the Plov Center cafe in Zelenograd, as a result of which one of the visitors died, two more were injured. The injured were hospitalized. Due to severe injuries, one of the wounded had to be put into medical sleep.

As it became known, the shootout took place after the conflict that broke out between the visitors of the institution. During the quarrel, one of them started shooting at opponents, and then fled the scene of the crime.

The moment of the murder

They show how the killer enters the Plov Center restaurant, takes alcohol from someone else’s table and takes a few sips right in front of the astonished couple. A verbal skirmish begins, after which it seems that the rowdy has been brought to reason.

But after a few seconds, the aggressive visitor returns with a weapon in his hands. He walks over to one of the tables where a group of men and a woman are sitting. The perpetrator fires several shots and then pulls the woman by her hair from the table. Following her, the first man falls unconscious, at whom shots were fired, and the attackers open fire on several more people who rushed to help. The killer then fled the scene of the crime.

Details of the crime

As became known REN TV, a message that a shooting had occurred in a cafe was received by the police on August 26 at 00:40. At the scene, law enforcement officers found the body of the deceased. It turned out to be a native of Kyrgyzstan – Khaldarov Khamidillo.

Law enforcers found that the attacker entered the cafe “Plov-center” at about 23:00. Later, he had a conflict with three visitors, during which he took out a gun and opened fire.

On the fact of the incident, the Moscow Investigative Committee opened a criminal case. “A criminal case has been initiated on the grounds of crimes under part 1 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (murder) and part 3 of article 30, paragraph “a” of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (attempted murder of two or more persons)”– said Yulia Ivanova, senior assistant to the head of the capital’s central office of the Investigative Committee.

A few hours later, operatives detained 38-year-old resident of Zelenograd Pyotr Kapustin. In the course of investigative measures, the Investigative Committee found two pistols and live ammunition for them in the killer’s apartment. According to preliminary data, the suspect was not familiar with any of the opponents.

What the neighbors say

Despite his aggressive behavior, Pyotr Kapustin’s neighbor claims that he was quiet at home.

“He has three children. One is grown up, the second is two years old, the third is very small. The children are always polite, greet.she said.

Now the fate of the suspect depends on the condition of the victims, but in any case, Kapustin faces a prison term.
