Scientists from the United States allowed a viral “tridemic” this season, in which the medical system can encounter several viruses at once at the same time. This was reported in The Wall Street Journal.

The virologist did not make assumptions about whether this could happen in Russia, but noted that such a situation could happen in the United States. “The issue of combining and, conversely, counteracting one infection with another was raised some time ago by Petr Chumakov. He was just saying that a combination of infections is possible. But we don’t know if the coronavirus interferes with other viral pathogens,” Chepurnov said.
