Russian President Vladimir Putin addressed the inhabitants of the occupied territories in his speech to the Federal Assembly. On Tuesday, February 21, Putin said they “determined their own future”.
“Special words to the residents of the ‘DPR’, ‘LPR’, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. You yourself determined your future in the referendums, you made your choice despite the terror and threats of the ‘Nazis’,” Putin said.
At the same time, he added that they will build roads and develop infrastructure in the new areas of the Russian Federation.
“We have already started and will continue to create the program for the restoration and development of federation subjects, the main thing is to restore enterprises, to build new roads, as we did in the Crimea. We implement all these plans jointly. Today the regions directly support the new regions, do this sincerely, they are doing like real brothers, we are together again, we are stronger, we will do everything to restore peace and ensure security, ” said Putin.
