According to the information obtained by the prosecutor’s office, Trubitsyn did not attend the meetings at VAKS three times, despite being duly warned about him.
The Anti-Corruption Supreme Court put Vladislav Trubitsyn, a deputy of the Kiev City Council, elected from the People’s Servant, who left the territory of Ukraine in May, on the international wanted list. This was reported by the Anti-Corruption Action Center on 5 June.
The verdict was delivered on June 5 by judges Igor Strogy, Elena Tanasevich and Ekaterina Sikora.
According to the centre, the deputy was invited to the hearings at VAKS three times and did not attend despite being duly warned three times.
Reasons for calling Trubitsin to VAKS
Investigators of the Ukrainian prosecutor’s office learned that Trubitsin had traveled outside the territory of Ukraine several times. The deputy first left the territory of Ukraine on January 21, on the basis of a letter from the Main Intelligence Directorate, where Trubitsyn’s request to leave was sent from the SSO (Special Operations Forces). Then, in early February, the deputy returned to Ukraine.
The next time Trubitsyn left the Rava Russkaya crossing point on May 13 with a foreign passport.
It is known that although the deputy had such an opportunity to send a letter to the Kyiv City Council on May 17 asking for the meeting to be postponed, he did not inform the court in any way about the reasons for his absence. He was included in the study group with the claim that his health condition deteriorated.
It is also known that at the hearing the interests of the deputy of the Kiev City Council were represented by a lawyer from the regional Free Legal Aid Center, who asked to postpone the meeting and give him more time to get used to the case. The court partially accepted the lawyer’s request and postponed the evaluation of the petition to change the measure until 12 June.
In addition, VAKS has stopped legal proceedings against Trubitsyn and, at the prosecutor’s request, seeks to collect a bail of approximately UAH 10 million from Trubitsyn.
Recall that at the end of February, Vladislav Trubitsyn, deputy of the Kiev City Council, was no longer a member of the Servant of the People party.
We also remember that Vladislav Trubitsyn, a member of the Kiev Council accused of corruption, went abroad on the initiative of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine during martial law.
