Dominican baseball player Julio Rodriguez and the Seattle Mariners are close to a 14-year contract extension that could be worth around $400 million if certain bonuses are met. Rodriguez just started his year in the majors.
ESPN journalist Jeff Pasan explained that Rodriguez’s contract it would be with $210 million insured over 14 years and that he could go up to $400 million, including team and player options, in case he asks to be traded or fired early.
