Tennis star Naomi Osaka announces she is expecting her first child

The four-time Grand Slam winner announced her pregnancy on social media.

Tennis player Naomi Osaka, 25, announced that she is expecting her first child and will miss the 2023 tennis season. Naomi announced this just days after the four-time Grand Slam champion withdrew from the Australian Open. The Daily Mail writes about it.

The four-time Grand Slam champion last week withdrew from the Australian Open this month for no official reason. However, on January 11, she announced on Instagram that she is expecting her first child.

The boy’s father is American rapper Cordae, whom Osaka has been dating since 2019.

“I can’t wait to get back on the field, but there’s a small life update for 2023,” the athlete wrote under ultrasound.

The old world number one spent most of his life in the United States but represents Japan, his country of birth.

Naomi Osaka promised to return to the tennis courts in 2024 and announced that she will take part in the Australian Open next year.

“I know there are so many exciting things ahead of me and I can’t wait for my kid to watch one of my games and say ‘this is my mom’ to someone,” he wrote.

Recall that in 2021 Naomi Osaka is the new face of Louis Vuitton.

And Ukrainian tennis player Elina Svitolina recently showed a photo of her nursery and talked about motherhood. Elina gave birth to a daughter, Sky, last year.
