Sixteen-year-old Russian tennis player Mirra Andreeva defeated American Alison Risk. Thus, she reached the second round of the French Open “Roland Garros”, which takes place on the clay courts in Paris.

The first round between Andreeva and Risk lasted 56 minutes. The match ended with the score 6:2, 6:1 in favor of the Russian.

In the second round of the championship, Andreeva will enter the court against the Frenchwoman Diane Parry, who had previously beaten the tennis player from Ukraine Angelina Kalinina.

It is worth noting that Mirra Andreeva is the second tennis player since 2000 who managed to win at Roland Garros and give three or less games under the age of 17 years. Before her, only Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova did this, who defeated the Argentine Maria Emilia Salerni in 2008.
