WhatsApp is updated: find out what’s new in the states of the app

WhatsApp has unveiled a major update to offer more options when posting statuses to the app. This is the biggest feature pack that WhatsApp has launched since the Meta-owned app made the leap from text states to live states that allow you to post photos or videos.

These are new features that the app has already tested in its beta version, but until today they have not been available to more than 2,000 million WhatsApp users around the world.

WhatsApp clarified that novelties are mainly divided into 5 functions such as greater privacy, icons to know which states have not been viewed, voice states, state responses with emojis, and preview links.

1. Privacy

Further Users will be able to choose who can view the statuses they post directly from the menu when the status is posted.. After selecting the material to post, the user will be able to see a row of buttons under the heading “Who can see my status updates”.

2. Status notifications

3. Voice states

Another novelty of this update package is that users will be able to publish statuses from voice notes. This is unprecedented as until now only text, images, videos and links could be posted.
