Z-patriots of the Russian Federation will be engaged in the production of a small analogue of a large idle ammunition.
Russian volunteer project Archangel has announced that it has begun testing a kamikaze drone that will be a miniature analogue of the Lancet loafer munition, TASS reported. According to representatives of the Archangel, the drone will be able to hit targets at a distance of 25 km.
One of the advantages of the drone is its low cost (2 times cheaper than the popular Chinese Mavic) and ease of manufacture. The drone will have a wingspan of about two meters and an aircraft-type fuselage. The model, which does not yet have a name and has not even been shown to local journalists, needs to be equipped with special control panels. According to representatives of the developer, the drone will be an excellent alternative to FPV aircraft, and the speed of its spread on the battlefield will reduce the risk of being hit by APU fire.
If the tests scheduled for August are successful, the turbopatriots are ready to produce 50 to 100 kamikaze drones per day and send them to the Russian invaders.
In addition, the Archangel project announced that the development of large aircraft type UAVs to be used for reconnaissance has begun. These drones should be able to stay in the air for 5-6 hours and examine an area of 60 km.
