At Japan Mobility Show 2023 Toyota introduced several innovations, including new FT-3e concept car. It is an electric crossover that has angular styling and some similarities, especially from the front, with the Toyota Land Cruiser Se (electric), which was also unveiled during this important automotive event.
Thus, from the front we see a closed grille, given the absence of an internal combustion engine, and horizontal headlights of a very thin shape. Interestingly, there are panels on the doors that display some information, such as battery charge and interior temperature. As we often see in concepts, there are also digital mirrors with cameras that project images onto screens located in the corners of the cabin.
Talking about interior, minimalism style. On the sides of the steering wheel we find small vertical displays that allow us to control some of the car’s functions. However, there is a small panel at the rear for digital instruments. The dashboard is then dominated by a large infotainment display.
However, nothing was said about the technical characteristics.. Therefore, there is no information regarding the engine, batteries, performance and autonomy. Will there be a production version of this concept in the future? From this point of view, too, nothing special was said. However, given the presence of the number 3 in the name, this model should be placed under the current bZ4X.
Therefore, we can only wait for more information to become available to better understand the future of this project.
