Breast dog Kabos, better known online as Chims, turned 17 in 2022.
A Shiba Inu dog named Kabosu, who gained popularity on social networks thanks to the “Doge”, “Kachok Doge and Chims” memes, and also became the symbol of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, fell seriously ill. This was announced by the owner of the pet, Atsuko Sato, on her Instagram page.
Atsuto posted pictures of his pet under a blanket on the social network, stating that the dog was not feeling well.
Beneath the photos it reads, “The situation seems very dangerous, but everything will be fine.”
Mistress Kabosu also thanked the subscribers for the kind words in the comments, noting that her pet feels support from her fans.
“We draw strength from the whole world! Many thanks to all,” the girl writes.
Atsuto Sako didn’t specify exactly why Kabosu got sick, but he did mention in his previous posts that the dog got sick before Christmas. Due to poor health, the animal refused to eat and drink.
In 2022, pet Sako turned 17 years old. At the same time, the average lifespan of Shiba Inu dogs fluctuates around 12-15 years.
Note that the first photos of Kabosu appeared on the network in 2010, after which they quickly began to gain popularity. In 2012, pictures of the dog became the template for the Doge meme. Three years later, this image has become the symbol of the Dogecoin cryptocurrency, created by programmers Billy Markus and Jackson Palmer as a “joke” to make fun of cryptocurrency speculation.
In 2020, a new wave of popularity fell on the dog in connection with the spread of the meme “Kachok Doge and Chims”. Pictures of two dogs, one big and muscular and the other weak and helpless, are often used to ironically compare the “good old days” with today.
Earlier we wrote about which factors influence the behavior of dogs. According to American scientists, the breed of a pet does not play an important role in its character.
