Knightley’s first major role and breakthrough came in 2002 in Bend It Like Beckham. The actor quickly gained worldwide fame by starring alongside Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series.
Thinking about his early rise to success, Knightley remembers the shock of fame that followed.
“I had a real introduction to adulthood,” the actress told Harper’s Bazaar UK. Extreme descent due to his fame experience gained at a very early age. Talking about parents’ demands on a working mother, Kira said, “The times during filming are unpredictable and extreme. I realized that I needed three people to do what a full-time parent used to do.”
