The actress noted that she does not condemn anyone for gadgets, but is strict with her daughters.

American actress Drew Barrymore, 48, mother of two daughters, 10-year-old Olive and 9-year-old Frankie, admitted to limiting children’s use of the iPad. He talked about this in an interview with Better Homes and Gardens.

According to Drew, he’s trying to spend more time interacting with girls live.

“We watch a lot of movies and TV shows, so I’m not judging anyone for gadgets. But when it comes to my kids, I’m not a big fan of personal electronics like the iPad. During the pandemic, when schools were closed, the remote control had to work on separate devices, and I didn’t like it. Now I keep the iPads in a locked safe and they only reach the kids on special occasions.

In the interview, he also shared his passion for all things interior design.

In addition to his acting career, Drew has a cosmetics line, a magazine bearing his name, a cookbook, and a home collection for Walmart. The player is constantly in search of new design inspiration.

“I’m going to chase someone down the street and say, ‘Can I take a picture of their shoes? That’s the perfect coral. And then, when I find that kind of inspiration, I’ll keep looking until I find something to apply it to. Otherwise, I’ll go crazy with passion with no way out,” added Barrymore.

The actor said that he is seriously considering quitting cinema.

“There was a long time I thought I could do interior design and that would make me happy. I could save money and shop around. I could make things unique – never formulaic. I thought I could even do the show. … And that’s exactly what I was going for and I was going to say ‘A talk. -Have you ever thought of doing a show?’ they said.”

As Drew launched the Flower Beauty line, he remembered the valuable business advice of his former father-in-law, Arye Kopelman. Kopelman’s notable career includes advertising experience as well as being Chanel’s president and chief operating officer. At the time, Barrymore was contemplating which color scheme to apply to his packaging.

Kopelman found a niche in the market, encouraging it to stand out from the competition:

“His advice is, ‘Go out and look at everything. Then ask yourself what you haven’t seen yet and do it.” It was a brilliant lesson from him and he made it all so clear because design is actually about filling gaps in the market and finding solutions on how to live. It doesn’t come from a spiritual, artistic place.”
