Recall that tripartite negotiations were held in Istanbul on the export of grain from Ukrainian ports. Delegations from Russia, Turkey and Ukraine took part in the conversation. As a result, on July 22, two documents were signed on the supply of fertilizers and food to world markets. The first one stated that the UN would remove restrictions on the export of agricultural products and fertilizers from the Russian Federation, and the second one – an algorithm for the export of Ukrainian grain.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that the Russian delegation had done a lot of work in Istanbul, but first it was worth waiting for the functioning of the agreements that had been reached.
The first dry cargo ship exporting grain from Ukraine arrived in Istanbul on August 2.
