Russia to send evidence of chemical terrorism in Kyiv to OPCW

Russia will send evidence of Ukraine’s chemical terrorism to the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). This was reported in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The department drew attention to the fact that the Ukrainian authorities authorized terrorist acts using chemical agents against Russian military and civilians. So, on July 31, Russian servicemen who performed combat missions in the Vasilyevka area in the Zaporozhye region were severely poisoned.

“As a result of the examination, a poisonous substance, botulinum toxin type B, was found in the body of military personnel.– reported in the Ministry of Defense.

Employees of the Main Research and Testing Institute of Military Medicine of the Russian Ministry of Defense conducted an additional examination, which also pointed to the poisoning of the military with an artificial poison – botulinum toxin type “B”.

“Evidence of chemical terrorism by the Kyiv regime will soon be officially forwarded to the OPCW through the Permanent Mission of Russia,” – assured in the defense department.

Russian special operation to protect Donbass

Recall, on February 17, the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics announced an aggravation of the situation. The republics announced the evacuation of civilians.

On February 21, the leaders of the Donbass republics appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to recognize the independence of the DNR and LNR. The head of state held a meeting of the Security Council, after which he signed two decrees on the recognition of the republics. Friendship and cooperation agreements were also signed with the independent Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics. The State Duma and the Federation Council ratified these agreements.

On February 23, the heads of the DPR and LPR appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to help repel Ukraine’s aggression in order to prevent a humanitarian catastrophe and civilian casualties. On February 24, the Russian leader addressed the nation and announced the start of a special operation in Ukraine to protect Donbass.
