Florida Christian School Won’t Accept Gay Students

The mother of a student at Grace Christian School, located in Valrico, about 20 miles east of Tampa, Florida, denounced the headmasters of said school for the rejection they had begun to accept. towards students whose sexual orientation differs from that of most of their peers.

“From what I read in the email, this is not a new policy, but this is the first time I’ve heard of it,” he said.

According to the letter, the school will only name students by their birth sex, and also states that any form of homosexuality or transgender identity is “sinful in the eyes of God and the church.”

“We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, transgender identity/lifestyle, self-identification, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sins in the eyes of God and the church. (Genesis 2:24; Leviticus 18:1-30; Romans 1:26-29; 1 Corinthians 5:1; 1 Corinthians 6:9; 1 Thessalonians 4:2-7).
Students found to be engaging in this lifestyle will be asked to leave the school immediately.”, says the administrator.

Knowing that her daughter would face a panorama for being a lesbian, the woman, in addition to denouncing the school’s discriminatory stance, decided to change her school despite the fact that the rest of her children attended Grace Christian School.

“In fact, I respect your opinion, but the well-being, rights and mental health of my daughter is more important,” he said.

In addition, the regretful mother explained that not all employees of said school hold the same position as the administrator.
