The West should not get tired of helping Kyiv and should achieve the adoption of a new package of sanctions against Russia. The corresponding statement was made by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmitry Kuleba.
“If we Ukrainians are not tired, the rest of Europe has neither the moral nor the political right to be tired.“, Die Zeit quoted him as saying.
He demanded that the European Union cast aside all doubts and quickly agree on the ninth package of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
Earlier, Kuleba expressed the opinion that the strengthening of energy sanctions and the supply of weapons to Kyiv will help the European Union and Ukraine “survive the winter.” Kuleba stated this at a meeting of the Council of EU Foreign Ministers.
Kuleba listed “10 steps to ensure that both Ukraine and the EU will survive” the winter.
Among such measures, Kuleba called the strengthening of energy sanctions. The Ukrainian minister also expressed the opinion that the European Union should continue to supply weapons to the Kyiv regime, as well as support Ukraine financially and send humanitarian aid to it.
