Moscow is dangerous to underestimate. This was stated by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, his words are quoted by Reuters.

Stoltenberg believes that Western military assistance to Kyiv is “absolutely necessary” so that Moscow allegedly does not achieve its own military-political goals.

He added that the supply of weapons to Ukraine will continue. The NATO Secretary General said that weapons are supposedly “the way to peace.”

According to him, investments in NATO member states will also continue.

Jens Stoltenberg also noted that the organization needs more soldiers, shells and weapons.

On January 4, the United States announced a new package of military assistance to Ukraine, including HIMARS systems.

In addition, the NATO military committee intends to discuss the Ukrainian conflict and further assistance to Kyiv on January 18-19.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly stressed that any arms shipments supplied by Western countries to Ukraine would be a legitimate target for the Russian Aerospace Forces. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the supply of weapons would not stop, but would prolong the conflict in Ukraine. In light of this fact, the position of the Western countries seems “harmful” and “counterproductive.”
