Russian rescuers will continue to work in Syria after the completion of the operation in the Jebla region. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Earlier it became known about the completion of work in this province.

“The employees of the emergency department are ready to continue their tasks in other regions of Syria”– added in the emergency department.

Recall that on February 12, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia Alexei Serko announced the end of the operation to rescue the survivors. The results will be reported to President Vladimir Putin.

The emergency department will continue to provide humanitarian assistance to the Arab Republic.

Recall that in recent days, an international scandal has been gaining momentum due to difficulties with the supply of humanitarian aid to Syria. Western sanctions prevent this. According to the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, the logic of Western states is inhuman.

Meanwhile, Russian rescuers with cynologists are working in Syria, but also the military. Earlier, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad thanked the Russian Federation for its help.
