According to civil defense officer St. Hussain, each of the reptiles weighed about 32 kg and was about 5 meters long.
Representatives of Malaysia’s Department of Civil Defense (Pertahanan Awam) took out several reticulated pythons crawling under the ceiling of an apartment building. This was reported by Sinar Harian’s Malaysian edition.
One of the rescuers used a noose for this. But after such attempts, the ceiling suddenly collapsed and it turned out to be three large snakes, apparently two of them mating.
According to St. Hussain, a civil defense officer in the Bentong area, each of the reptiles weighed about 32 kg and was about 5 meters long.
The weight of the third snake is 25 kg, and its length is 5 meters.
According to law enforcement, all the snakes were caught and then released to safety.
“We want to inform the public that action is needed, because it’s almost summer and the snakes are looking for cool places,” Hussein said.
Reticulated pythons are considered one of the largest snakes in the world. The length of record copies grew up to 6 meters, but the length of medium-sized individuals, as a rule, is about 5 meters.
These snakes live more than 20 years. After mating, females lay 25 to 80 eggs with an incubation period of about three months. For the female, this is a period of starvation, all this time she tries to warm the eggs.
The snake video has been viewed more than 50 million times on TikTok.
Users were shocked, some expressed that they would leave such a house and never return. Someone wrote that they are going to sell the house because they are afraid of other snakes.
“I screamed, as if I was there when I saw the falling ceiling, the phone fell from my hand,” wrote user Simply_V414.
Recall that in Indonesia, a large python swallowed a 54-year-old woman alive. The snake allegedly attacked the rubber picker and coiled around it and strangled it before biting it.
Previously Focus reported that a diver kicked a hungry attacking shark, which saved his life.
