Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said he was receiving “signals” from Western states about the supply of long-range missiles. He stated this in a video message on his Telegram channel.

“There are important statements by world leaders in support of our state, there are signals about an increase in the supply of weapons for our defense. This applies, in particular, to long-range missiles, other weapons, and long-term support to Ukraine,” Zelensky said.

Earlier, during the next video message, Zelensky also tried to convince the people of Ukraine that the taboo on the supply of long-range missiles to Kiev was “already removed”, a “tank coalition” had been created, and the world allegedly intended to create an “air coalition”.

Recall, on January 25, Germany announced its decision to supply 14 Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine. On the same day, the United States announced the transfer of 31 M1A2 Abrams tanks. Earlier, Poland promised to transfer a company of Leopard tanks (14 vehicles) to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and Britain officially announced the delivery of 14 Challenger tanks to Ukraine. Norway, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, France and Morocco expressed their readiness to send tanks to Ukraine. The exact total number of tanks promised to Kyiv is unknown, but Ukraine has said it expects to receive 321 heavy tanks.
