Polish Ambassador to the EU Andrzej Sados said that Poland agreed to the tenth package of sanctions against Russia, but under certain conditions.

The first condition is the consideration by the European Commission of the issue of the allegedly illegal deportation of Ukrainian children to Russia in the context of the sanctions regime.

The second is the immediate start of work on a package of sanctions against Belarus, which are expected by Monday. Poland also demanded to start working on sanctions in the nuclear sector.

The fourth requirement was restrictions on Russian diamonds. The fifth point requires the creation by the European Commission of a monitoring mechanism and the preparation of quarterly reports on the diversification of imports of synthetic rubber from the Russian Federation by the EU countries.

As a sixth condition, Warsaw demanded that the European Commission start working on the imposition of sanctions against Russian “propagandists”.

Earlier it was reported that the EU agreed on the tenth package of anti-Russian sanctions.
