In Radlin, Poland, a man exhumed his mother’s body and lived with her for 13 years. This was reported by the Polish edition of InPoland.
The body was found by accident. A relative of an old man in Radlin turned to the rescuers who said he was sick. The grandfather, who was removed from the house, was taken to the hospital, and rescuers found a mummified female body on the sofa in one of the rooms inside the house.
Police were called to the scene.
At first, investigators suspected that the body had been lying for several months.
A DNA test was requested to determine the identity of the woman. An autopsy determined that the body belonged to a woman over the age of 65.
According to the results of DNA analysis, it was revealed that the body belonged to the mother of a pensioner who died at the age of 95 in 2010.
While the 76-year-old son of the deceased was taken to a psychiatric hospital, the police filed a criminal case for “deliberate killing”.
