On the evening of March 29, a gas pipeline exploded in the village of Pelym in the Sverdlovsk Region of Russia. This was reported by the Telegram channel Mash.
“Explosion at a gas pipeline in the village of Pelym, Sverdlovsk Region. The video shows a huge column of fire visible from tens of kilometers away,” the report says.
The SHOT Telegram channel also reported that the explosion occurred in the Yamburg-Yelets 1 section. According to preliminary data, the cause was depressurization.
Channel managers, “The gas is cut off at the moment, the remaining gas is burning. There is no loss of life as a result of the emergency.”
