Poland wants to create a barrier to the flow of migrants to the EU

Poland needs to strengthen its borders to contain the flow of migrants to the EU. The corresponding statement was made by the Prime Minister of this country, Mateusz Morawiecki.

According to him, the Polish authorities are categorically against the influx of migrants from Africa and the Middle East. The issue of migration will be discussed at the EU summit at the end of June, TASS reports.

“We are in favor of strengthening the borders, including the southern border, for containing large migratory masses, as we did on the eastern border“, – quotes Morawiecki TASS.

Earlier, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that stopping the flow of migrants to the EU from Belarus is “the main success of European diplomacy” in 2021.

If this is so, then “the affairs of European diplomacy are deplorable,” concluded the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova.
