Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba commented on the topic of pressure on Kyiv from the West.
He stressed that some states demand that Ukraine achieve the maximum in the current counteroffensive. According to Kuleba, not a single country has said that if Kyiv does not succeed by autumn, then its support will be terminated, Suspilne reports.
The Minister acknowledged that in each country there are calculations of various options related to Ukraine. Thus, elections are approaching in some states, shells are running out in others.
“There is such logic, but we, in the good sense of the word, do not fall for it.“, Kuleba added.
He also stated that he was confident that Ukraine would become an asset for NATO, not a burden.
Earlier, CNN reported that Western countries admitted that the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not materialize “in any of the directions.” The authors also noted that Russian positions have strong defensive lines, and the RF Armed Forces show excellent training in repelling attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
