In the video, which has received more than 572,000 views and more than 4,000 likes, a worker pinches a customer’s smudged, yellow nail oozing artificial pus. Salon staff show the process by first filing the original nail, made in a light pink shade with a white tip. After applying the adhesive, a piece of plastic film is placed on top and then a yellow tint is given to it.
Finally, the salon staff coats the nail in a beige tone, adding texture with each stroke and finishing it off by adding a realistic smudge and blood droplets in the middle.
People were quick to write in the comments and share their reactions. Many were horrified.
