On July 9, the Bryansk region was attacked by two rockets, one of which fell on the sawmill. Russian media have already written that it is alleged that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are trying to hit the Desnogorsk nuclear power plant using British Storm Shadow missiles.

Dmitry Medvedev urged the Russian Armed Forces to “not be timid” and simultaneously struck several nuclear power plants in Ukraine. The Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation wrote this on his Telegram channel on Sunday, July 9th.

“If the attempt to attack the Smolensk nuclear power plant with NATO missiles is confirmed, it is necessary to consider the scenario of a simultaneous Russian attack on the South Ukrainian nuclear power plant, the Rivne nuclear power plant and the Khmelnitsky nuclear power plant.” Medvedev wrote.

He also called for missile launches at nuclear facilities in Eastern Europe.

“There is nothing to be ashamed of,” the Russian politician summed up.

This is how Medvedev reacted to the missile attack of the Russian air defense over the Bryansk region.

What happened on July 9 in the village of Bytosh, Bryansk region?

On Sunday, the governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, announced that Russian air defense had shot down two missiles allegedly fired by Ukraine.

A sawmill in the village of Bytosh was completely destroyed when one of the rockets crashed at around 14:00. This settlement is located in the north of Bryansk, 165 kilometers from the Ukrainian border. Another crashed rocket crashed into a field and exploded there without harming anyone.

Bogomaz claimed that no one was injured as a result of the falling of the rockets.

Meanwhile, Rosmedia Mash wrote that the missiles were fired by the Ukrainian military, which allegedly tried to attack the Desnogorsk nuclear power plant in the Smolensk region and a military airfield in Kaluga. The media concluded that the Russian rear was attacked by British Storm Shadow missiles.

The Ukrainian side did not comment on the incident.

Recall that on July 7, an explosion occurred at an explosives factory in Russia. The enterprise is one of the main manufacturers of industrial explosives in Russia and the CIS. Ammonal and ammonite, TNT detonators and other blasting agents are produced here.

And on July 2, near the military airfield of Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Krasnodar Territory, Russian Federation), at 16:00 a powerful explosion thundered. According to preliminary data, the airspace that the Russian Armed Forces attacked Ukraine with offensive drones was hit by a missile. It was supposed to hit the fuel and mineral oil tank.
