Over 800 flights canceled due to Typhoon Lan in Japan

More than 800 flights have been canceled in Japan as Typhoon Lan hit the country’s west coast. This is reported NHK.

It is specified that the largest air carriers Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways canceled at least 313 and 241 flights, respectively.

Also, due to heavy rains and strong winds, more than 20,000 homes were left without electricity. The Tokai region is expected to receive almost three times the average monthly rainfall (about 350 mm).

Typhoon made adjustments to the work of railway transport. In several regions, the movement of high-speed trains was suspended.
