President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held telephone conversations with his American counterpart Joe Biden. The head of the Kyiv regime announced this on his Telegram channel.
“The United States has taken the lead in consolidating global support for Ukraine. This decisive leadership made our struggle possible and set the arc of history…” Zelensky wrote.
The reason for the call was Independence Day, which is celebrated on August 24 in Ukraine. Zelensky thanked Biden, the American government and the people of the United States, whose taxes help Kyiv go, for their support. He also added that “freedom and independence are worth fighting for.”
“I thank President Biden, the US Congress and all Americans. You can count on Ukraine to protect our common values”– Zelensky summed up his post.
Recall that, according to Russia’s Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya, Ukraine has nothing to congratulate, as the Kiev regime is aimed at serving the United States and its allies. Kyiv ignores the needs of its own people, at the behest of the West, refusing to negotiate peace.
