The Russian side requested to hold a meeting of the UN Security Council on September 12 on the topic of deliveries of Western weapons to Ukraine.

“We requested a meeting on 12 September on the supply of Western weapons to Ukraine and other factors that negatively affect the prospects for resolving the crisis,” – Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the UN, reports in his Telegram channel.

He noted that it was important to select a suitable speaker, which would be done prior to the meeting.

Earlier, Politico reported that Washington plans to announce on September 6 the start of deliveries of depleted uranium ammunition to Ukraine.

On the eve it became known that the Russian military for the first time destroyed the British Challenger 2 tank, which was supplied to the Kyiv regime. This was confirmed by the footage of the destruction of the car near the village of Rabotino in the Zaporozhye region, where our army continues to repel enemy attacks.
