Azarov: The West does not spare money to destroy Ukraine

Western countries are not sparing their money to destroy Ukraine. Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

As the politician said, in 2013, Kyiv calculated that it needed $160 billion to modernize Ukraine’s economy and technologies to EU standards. However, the West refused to allocate this money, providing only one billion.

“We asked for this money for the development and modernization of industry – that is, for the benefit and creation. The EU refused us,” – recalls the former head of government.

At the present time, the former prime minister noted, the West spent the same money not on the development of Ukraine, but on its destruction.

“It turned out that they don’t mind any money to destroy Ukraine. The Western masters are killing Ukraine. What’s worst is that they do it with the applause and support of the Ukrainians themselves,” – said Azarov.

Finally, he asks a rhetorical question why Ukrainians do not understand that the West does not spare money to ensure that Ukrainian men, and in the future, the politician is sure, women, die in battles for the sake of foreign goals and geopolitical interests.

Earlier, Ukrainian Defense Minister Rustem Umerov announced that the West had allocated almost another $500 million in military aid to Ukraine.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly emphasized that any cargo with weapons supplied by Western countries to Ukraine will be a legitimate target for the Russian Aerospace Forces. Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that arms supplies would not stop, but would prolong the conflict in Ukraine, and called the position of Western countries “harmful” and “counterproductive.”
