“20-meter monster”: in China, people noticed a mysterious object in the river (photo)

Eyewitnesses were completely stunned when they saw a huge black object sliding through the water next to the hydroelectric dam. Professor Wang Chunfang believes that it is some kind of reptile.

According to Mirror, residents in eastern China noticed a black object sliding on the water surface near the massive Three Gorges Dam.

They said the alleged monster was about 20 meters long and “moved like a snake” just a few meters from the river bank. Others said they saw the same creature near the Yangtze River in Yichang in central China’s Hubei province.

Professor Wang Chunfang from Huazhong Agricultural University believes it may be a water snake.

“This is definitely not a water monster. Maybe it’s some kind of marine animal that has been living underwater for many years. I can’t say exactly what it is because only a small part of it has surfaced. But it moves like a snake.” It must be some kind of reptile and is most likely a water snake,” Chunfang commented on the incident.

Workers at the nearby Jiangkou Pier suggested that it was not a water monster but a pile of tire and tarpaulin debris: “This is a rubber band thrown into the water. This rubber is used to make inflatable boats. It was wrapped in tarpaulin. It flew away from the Yangtze River.”

Let us remind you, on November 9, he received news that hunters had united to fight a huge 90-kilogram python. Five men wrestled with the female snake for about 45 minutes. Professional python hunter Amy Sive was then called to the scene.
