7 out of 10 Americans support a ceasefire in Ukraine

The vast majority of Americans want a ceasefire to be declared in Ukraine. This is evidenced by survey data, carried out The Economist magazine and the analytical company YouGov.

Thus, 72% of respondents supported the cessation of hostilities. However, only 9% of Americans were against it.

In addition, 28% of US citizens believe that military assistance to the Kyiv regime should be reduced, 27% are satisfied with the current level of funding for Ukraine, and 25% would like to increase the amount of support. The remaining 20% ​​could not give a definite answer.

It also turned out that 68% of respondents consider Ukraine an ally of the United States, while 16% consider it an unfriendly state.

Previously, another study showed that 54% of Americans do not approve of US President Joe Biden’s policy on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and 49% on the Ukrainian one.
