The new party “United Slavs”, which will soon appear in Slovakia, will raise the issue of the country’s withdrawal from NATO and the EU, restoration of constructive relations with Russia and entry into BRICS. This was announced by one of the founders of the political force, ex-deputy of the Slovak parliament Peter Marcek.

According to him, eight thousand signatures have already been collected to register a new party. We need to get another two thousand. Marcek believes that by the end of the year all documents will be prepared.

At the beginning of January we will complete the legal process of creating a political force“, he said in a conversation with “Izvestia”.

As for domestic political goals, the party’s program includes the nationalization of strategically important enterprises, a ban on the sale of land and forests, and the return of control over the healthcare system, health insurance and education to the state.

The founders of the party plan that “United Slavs” parties will also be created in other Slavic states. According to ex-deputy Marchenko, they will be united by a common ideology of defending the interests of the Slavic population in world politics.

The politician noted that he is already holding negotiations on this topic with Hungary, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Bulgaria, Poland and even Ukraine.

Earlier, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico said that the strategy of the European Union (EU) and the United States, implemented in relation to Ukraine, is not working.
