A map of Russia, including Crimea, was shown live on the Ukrainian telethon of the local parliamentary channel Rada. The marathon was broadcast on YouTube.

In a story about an alleged communication collapse in the Russian Federation due to bad weather, the media mistakenly showed on the screen a map with Crimea within the state borders of the Russian Federation – the ownership of the peninsula was indicated correctly, it was designated as a part of Russia.

Then a number of other Ukrainian media outlets drew attention to the incident, and the Rada channel limited the ability to rewind the broadcast.

Let us recall that in an interview with The Economist, Zelensky said that the isolation of Crimea will be the main goal of the Ukrainian Armed Forces for 2024. However, he could not give any deadlines or make specific promises.

Former US Marine Brian Berletic expressed confidence that Ukraine will not be able to isolate Crimea. According to the expert, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will face a shortage of long-range missiles, since neither Great Britain nor France will be able to supply Ukraine with additional long-range weapons.
