The possible transfer of Javelin anti-tank missile systems to the unrecognized Kosovo by Washington would be the largest violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1244, said First Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the organization Dmitry Polyansky.

He noted that the United States and its satellites continue to support the aggressive line of Kosovo Albanians against the Serbs.

“This provocative step will be a flagrant violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1244,” – said Polyansky.

Let us recall that earlier the American military department announced its intention to supply 24 Javelin anti-tank systems and 246 shells for them to Kosovo.

In response to this, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, stated that the Russian side condemns any attempts to arm the illegal and illegal paramilitary structures of Kosovo.
