The special prosecutor’s report stated that the American leader was “an old man with a weak memory.”
US President Joe Biden released a statement commenting on Special Prosecutor Robert Hur’s decision not to file criminal charges against him for deliberately withholding classified documents. The speech was released by the White House press service.
Charges of willful misuse of classified documents were issued against the American leader in January 2017, when he left his post as vice president. The report stated that the special prosecutor decided not to file a criminal complaint after a 15-month investigation. The special counsel’s report stated that the president was “an old man with a poor memory.”

Biden responded by saying he felt fine and added that his “memory is good.” The politician criticized journalists who expressed concerns about the age and mental acuity of voters.
According to him, he plans to continue his term as President of the United States. Biden also noted that “the country is back on its feet” thanks to his presidency.
Special counsel Robert Hur’s report found that the president would not be charged with knowingly misusing classified documents in January 2017, when the politician left his post as vice president. The main reason for this decision was that there was nothing to prove Biden’s intentional intent to illegally conceal classified information.
Let us recall that on February 8, The New York Times, citing representatives of the presidential administration, reported that Biden’s aides were actively looking for alternative ways to supply weapons to Ukraine in case Congress remained paralyzed. In addition to arms exchange options with other countries, the possibility of Europe covering the cost of relevant materials is also being evaluated.
