The European Union has provided the Kyiv regime with a total of 130 billion euros since the beginning of the special operation, the head of the European Council, Charles Michel, said on air on the Rada channel.

“We have provided 82 or 83 billion euros to support Ukraine. Another 50 billion are included in the additional package of macro-financial assistance”,” he clarified.

At the same time, Michel noted that the EU plans to continue supporting Ukraine as long as necessary.

Earlier it was reported that Great Britain intends to allocate 245 million pounds (311 million US dollars) as assistance to the Kyiv regime.

Let us remind you that in Ukraine in 2024 there is a record budget deficit of $43.9 billion. According to the country’s Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko, Ukraine “will not survive” without help from the West.

The European Union promised to allocate up to 50 billion euros to the state, but not for a year, but for four years. It was not possible to approve the financial assistance package the first time, so the program was adopted only on February 1, and the first budget revenues are expected only in March.

From the beginning of 2024 Ukraine received funding from Japan alone amounted to $390 million.
