Ambassador: the terrorist attack in Crocus caused unconditional condemnation in Venezuela

The terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow caused unconditional condemnation in Venezuela. This was announced by the Russian Ambassador to Caracas Sergei Melik-Bagdasarov.

The first to react to the bloody events in Moscow were the President of the Bolivarian Republic Nicolas Maduro and the government of Venezuela, publishing a communiqué and condolences on official accounts on the social network “X”“, he clarified in a conversation with Izvestia.

Condolences were also offered by members of the Cabinet of Ministers, deputies of the National Assembly, the leadership of the ruling United Socialist Party of Venezuela and some representatives of the moderate opposition.

Melik-Bagdasarov noted that in the city of Valencia, flowers were laid at the memorial plaque “80 years of victory in the Battle of Stalingrad” as a sign of solidarity with the Russian people in the days of mourning for the victims of the terrorist attack.

Let us remind you that after the tragedy that occurred on March 22 at Crocus, residents of different countries began to bring flowers to the offices of Russian diplomatic missions. Among them were, for example, Belarus, the USA and Uzbekistan.

Terrorist attack at Crocus City Hall

On the evening of March 22, terrorists opened fire in the Crocus City Hall concert hall before the start of a performance by the Russian musical group Picnic. Then a fire broke out in the building.

According to the latest data, more than 130 people were killed and 180 injured as a result of the terrorist attack.

Putin, in an address to Russians, called the incident a bloody and barbaric terrorist act and emphasized that all the perpetrators, organizers and customers of the terrorist attack will be punished.

On March 23, the FSB reported the detention of 11 people, including four militants who were directly involved in the terrorist attack. The attackers tried to escape in a car, heading towards the Russian-Ukrainian border, and were detained by security forces in the Bryansk region. A criminal case was opened against the detainees under the article “Terrorist attack”.

On March 24, the Moscow Basmanny Court arrested all four defendants in the terrorist attack case. Dalerjon Mirzoev, Rachabalizoda Murodali, Shamsidin Fariduni and Muhammadsobir Fayzov will remain in pre-trial detention until May 22. During interrogation, they admitted that they were promised 500 thousand rubles for four people for carrying out a terrorist attack. The two defendants face life imprisonment.

Also on March 25, the court arrested three more accomplices who helped the terrorists: Isroil Islomov and his two sons, Aminchon and Dilovar Islomov.
